Ace Awarded Contract for 26 Door Installations in Reykjavík, Iceland

Ace Door Systems is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a significant international contract to supply and install 26 door systems in Reykjavík, Iceland. Installation is scheduled to commence at the end of November and will include a combination of batter-through impact doors, fire curtains and high-speed industrial doors, all manufactured and specified to suit the operational demands of the site and local climate conditions.

This project represents an important milestone in our continuing growth within overseas markets. Ace Door Systems was selected following a competitive tender process, during which the client highlighted our comprehensive and detailed technical proposal, strong health and safety accreditations and the proven expertise of our engineering and installation teams. Our ability to provide clear design recommendations, full compliance documentation and a structured delivery plan was recognised as a key differentiator.

The installation in Iceland requires solutions capable of withstanding demanding operational environments, high-traffic movement and extreme weather variations. The combination of high speed doors for efficiency, batter doors for durability and fire curtain systems for life-safety protection will deliver a robust and future-proof access and safety infrastructure for the facility.

Our specialist engineers will be deployed from the UK to carry out installation, testing and commissioning, supported by our technical team to ensure a seamless delivery of all project phases.
