The project involved supplying and installing a newly specified door design intended to enhance durability, improve operational flow and reduce maintenance requirements in busy back-of-house environments.

Crash doors are essential in high-traffic retail and supermarket settings where staff frequently move goods and equipment such as roll cages, pallet trucks and trolleys through access points. Traditional doors can quickly become damaged, leading to operational slowdowns, safety risks and ongoing repair expenditure. The newly selected door system provides significantly improved strength and resilience, using reinforced construction and flexible panels designed to withstand repeated impact without sustaining permanent damage.
